Achieving ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 marks another major milestone in Bluecube’s ambition to become the region’s leading Managed Service Provider (MSP).

2026 has already been a significant year for Bluecube Cloud Services, and October brought another major milestone as the business officially achieved both ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification. As a Managed Service Provider supporting businesses across Lincoln, Lincolnshire and beyond, these certifications represent an important milestone in our commitment to delivering secure, high-quality technology services.

For Bluecube, this isn’t simply about adding more accreditations to the wall but about the continued investment we’re making in achieving operational excellence and our determination to keep raising the standard of what our customers should expect from our team as the partner advising them on and managing their business technology.

Alongside achieving ISO certification, we renewed our Cyber Essentials Plus certification earlier this year and have recently achieved Microsoft Solutions Partner for Modern Work status, further strengthening our credentials across security, quality and Microsoft technology.

Why ISO matters to our customers

When you choose an MSP, you’re placing a huge amount of trust in that organisation. Your IT systems, Microsoft 365 environment, business data and cyber security are all critical to keeping your business running, so you need confidence that your technology partner takes security and quality just as seriously as you do.

Achieving ISO 27001 gives our customers additional reassurance that information security is embedded into the way Bluecube operates. It means we follow a structured approach to identifying and managing security risks, protecting information and continually reviewing and improving the controls and processes we have in place.

Combined with ISO 9001, our customers can also have confidence that we’re equally focused on the quality and consistency of the service we provide. It reinforces our commitment to strong processes, customer focus and continual improvement across the business.

Bluecube used Compliant Limited to guide them through the process of ensuring operations and processes were up to ISO auditing standards. Project leader at Bluecube, Ollie Cole explained that the nine month process to prepare for the audit, wasn’t an easy period.

“We had to be sure that our documentation, processes and team mentality were at the right level to achieve a first-time pass. I’m very proud that we were able to do that and the whole team takes credit for this achievement”. – Ollie Cole, Cyber Security Lead.

Building our Microsoft capabilities

Bluecube’s recent ISO achievements sit alongside another important development for Bluecube during 2026: achieving Microsoft Solutions Partner for Modern Work status.

This represents another step forward in the development of our Microsoft capabilities and reflects the investment we’re making in skills, qualifications and expertise.

Microsoft technology increasingly sits at the heart of the modern workplace, from Microsoft 365 and Teams through to cyber security, cloud services, automation, Copilot and AI.

For Bluecube, developing our expertise in these areas is central to the MSP we’re building for the future. Our recognition across Modern Work and AI Business Solutions further supports that direction and shows that our investment isn’t limited to one area of the business. We’re continuing to develop the technical capabilities our customers will need in the years ahead.

Strengthening our security foundations

Earlier in 2026, Bluecube also successfully renewed our Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

Cyber Essentials Plus has been an important part of our security strategy, and combining this with ISO 27001 demonstrates just how seriously we take our own cyber security responsibilities.

More importantly, we want to use what we’ve learnt through our own certification journey to help our customers improve their security posture and complete CE or CE+ certifications too.

Our ambition is bigger than the certificates

Bluecube’s Managing Director, Paul Reames commented “We’re incredibly proud of achieving ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, particularly because of the work and commitment required from the Bluecube team to get there. But ultimately, these certifications aren’t the destination. Our customers will always judge Bluecube on the things that really matter: our support, our people and our expertise. That’s why we’ll keep investing in our business”.

A strong year for Bluecube

2026 has been a year of creating the disciplines we need within the company to be a great MSP for our clients.

ISO 27001 strengthens our approach to information security.

ISO 9001 reinforces our commitment to quality and continual improvement.

Cyber Essentials Plus strengthens our cyber security foundations.

Our Microsoft recognition demonstrates our continuing investment in the technology, skills and expertise our customers increasingly depend upon.

Achieving ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 is another very important step on our overall journey.
