To help address this, Microsoft is introducing a powerful new feature within Outlook for iOS and Android: Priority View, powered by Microsoft Copilot, the company’s AI assistant.
This new functionality uses artificial intelligence to intelligently categorise your inbox into two clear sections: High Priority and Needs Replies. The goal is to make it immediately obvious which emails require your attention, right when you open the app.
By surfacing the most important messages first, Priority View can help reduce the time spent scanning your inbox and minimise the risk of overlooking something critical. For busy teams, it also alleviates some of the stress that comes with trying to stay on top of constant communication.
It’s important to note that this feature will be rolled out gradually, with full availability expected by late 2025. Additionally, it will be exclusive to organisations using Microsoft 365 with an active Copilot license, as Copilot is a paid add-on.
