As we reported back in January, members of the team at Bluecube, along with some friends and family of Director Paul Reames, completed their charity challenge on Saturday 18th April. The event was organised by Paul Reames in memory of his father John Reames who died from Cancer in 2008. The event raised over £1575.00 plus a further £325 in gift aid for local charity St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice.
The team travelled up to the Lake District on Friday afternoon and were up early on Saturday morning to begin their mountain climb up Helvellyn. The summit of Helvellyn is the 3rd highest peak in England at 950m but the precarious ridge walks on either side of the peak are what make it such a challenging climb.
Thanks to the kind sponsorship of our business connections and friends and the time, energy and determination of the Bluecube team a wonderful donation will be made to our friends at St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice.
