Bluecube is delighted to announce that from Monday 17th August 2020 the fast growing and globally successful Wildix platform will be launched and fully supported by our award-winning team.
The company has taken this decision following a surge in remote working enquiries following the recent lockdown period. Bluecube is already regarded as a leader in hosted business communications and has been rolling out cloud phone systems on the Cisco Broadsoft platform since 2014. Following the recent development and launch of our own Microsoft Teams Telephony solution earlier in the summer, Wildix is the perfect fit to offer our clients a comprehensive choice of telephony and UC&C (unified communications & collaboration) solutions.
UC&C technology allows the end user to not only make phone calls from any device and anywhere, but also allows the user to video call, instant message, host virtual meetings and webinars with many other useful features. The Wildix platform uses RTC (real time communications) so that both internal and (if required) external contacts can see the real time availability of a user.
Wildix was launched in 2005 but now has over 1.2 million end users and is active in 135 countries globally. The platform is also extremely competitively priced giving businesses a vast range of services for a surprisingly low cost per user.
Bluecube Managing Director, Paul Reames said:
We get approached by carriers on a regular basis to sell different solutions but when we first met with Wildix and saw how powerful, flexible and easy to use and cost effective the platform was, we knew straight away that it was right for us and for many of our clients.
What makes Wildix different is that it is web based and therefore there’s no need to download software and get regular updates. End users can still use basic desk phone telephony, but businesses now want tools that make home working and remote working an easy option. Wildix offers every user a mobile application and soft phone feature so that they can choose how and where they want to work. Wildix is also compatible with a vast range of other software so that the user can easily integrate it with their favourite business software.
Bluecube is committed to making sure we offer our customers access to the latest developments in communications technology and that we are fully trained to manage it on behalf of our clients. We are now fully certified to manage Wildix and to train our end users on how to get the best from this fantastic solution.
The world of business communications is going through massive change and the recent lockdown has only accelerated the business community’s appetite to find a solution that works for them. We now feel we have a fantastic range of audio, video and collaboration solutions to cover all opportunities when we are approached to give advice.
“When Bluecube was founded in 2008 the original concept was to offer businesses independent advice on their communications and a customer service experience that they simply wouldn’t get by going direct to the carrier” added Paul Reames. “Since then technology has really evolved and we’ve become more specialist in hosted communications, but we still feel it’s important to offer our clients choice. We now have three very strong platforms to offer our customers and being able to manage their internet and mobile services too is what still makes us an attractive proposition in 2020”.
