Bluecube’s jointly hosted cloud event with SCS Technology of Lincoln and Quickline UK of Hull, which was hosted at Doddington Hall near Lincoln, has been hailed as a great success.
The seminar to discuss opportunities and threats from the cloud to UK businesses, attracted a large audience at the Coach House venue at Doddington Hall. Over 50 businesses attended the presentations from the companies hosting the event and the guest speakers supporting the main topics. The subjects and discussions for the morning included effective cloud migration planning, cloud voice, connectivity and disaster recovery planning.
Representatives from businesses across the county commented:
“Engaging speakers with great knowledge”, “Great local companies, very knowledgeable” and finally “Interesting and informative presentations at a wonderful venue”.
The feedback from clients and prospective clients alike was very positive. We wanted an event that would generate thought and conversation about the cloud’s role in business. I think we did just that, most companies knew what the cloud was, some had already adopted cloud services within their business. Having a broad range of companies with differing levels of knowledge about the cloud provoked some very interesting debates.
