Exporting personal directory from Unity
Unity, our call control client, contains many features. Once is the ability to create your own ‘Personal Directory’ visible only to yourself, seperate from your business wide corporate directory. Occasionally, you may wish to take this personal contacts list and provide it to your system admin or the Bluecube team to merge it with the main corporate directory so it’s visible to the rest of the business.
The below guide briefly talks you through exporting your ‘Personal Directory’ from Unity, and exporting it as a CSV file for either importing somewhere else, or merging with another contacts list:
- Right click on the ‘Search’ box under the ‘Contact’ tab and select ‘Personal Directory’.
- Right click on any contact in the list, hover over ‘Personal Directory’, and then select ‘Export Directory’. Choose a location for the file to export to, and press ‘Save’.
- The exported file will be in CSV format, with two fields, one for the name, one for the number. You can then merge this with other exported files to create a master list to import. Once you have all the data you need importing to the ‘Corporate Directory’, just forward it over to us at support@bluecubecloud.com and we can validate the data and import it for you. Import functionality isn’t currently available in Unity, so it’s easier for us to do remotely from our side.
